THE ARCTIC PAVILION

at the 29th UN Climate Change Conference (СОР29)
Baku, Azerbaijan, November 11-22, 2024
The Northern Forum (NF) is an international organization of northern regions and observer of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change as well as of the Arctic Council and accredited by UNEP.

The Northern Forum aims at providing this platform, the Arctic Pavilion, for the outreach and collaboration at COP29 and develop it further in the framework of UNFCCC, revitalizing partnerships for sustainable development in the high north.

UNFCCC Organizing Committee and the Secretariat supported The Northern Forum application for a standard pavilion of 50 m² in the Blue Zone submitted with the assistance of the BRICS Youth Energy Agency.

Andrey Melnichenko Foundation is the General Partner and Sponsor of the Arctic Pavilion.
The Blue Zone includes Baku Stadium and the adjacent area. The areas designated for the pavilions are shown on the Figure. Follow the link for the map of the pavilions
Space up to 50 m² using a template stand design and the package includes:
  • Space Rental
  • Raised Floor for technical installations with exhibition carpet
  • Peripheral walling and ceiling structure with basic lighting
  • Branded Reception Counter
  • Meeting Room for 4pax with shelve system for storage
  • 7 Branded Walls in format 2х1m
  • One round meeting table for 4pax
  • 19 chairs (15 for conference area and 4 for the meeting room)
  • 1x 55” Screen for presentations
  • Small stage for presentations
  • Required power connection and wall sockets (number of sockets according to final size and wall configuration)

  • 1st line wired internet connection 50 Mbps up/down to connect online participants, organizing simultaneous English-Russian translation in ZOOM;
