Role of Nature based Education in community adaptation and building resilience (ReSpECCб CEESP IUCN, UN MGCY)

The entire planet is connected with one cause now more than ever, Climate Change. Due to increasing temperatures life in the Arctics is impacted negatively. This does creates a ripple impact on the planetary health and our global climatic conditions. How can Nature based education equip people from all regions to lead a lifestyle that commits to more cooperation for the adaptations and mitigations to take place in the Arctics. Various communities play crucial role in this whether its the researchers, youth, faith communities, media and administrators. Nature Based Education Task Force of CEC IUCN will present various pathways and successful examples on building resilience of the community specially the young ones. We will present various perspectives to let communities be inspired to follow up on nature based education demand in their respective countries and how its related to the Arctics. Nature-based education plays a crucial role in promoting community adaptation and building resilience, especially in the face of climate change, environmental degradation, and other socio-ecological challenges.
