This session focuses on identifying the immense co-benefits of supplying energy and other resources to local communities incl. indigenous groups in pursuit of socioeconomic development along with carbon neutrality and introducing digital platform concepts that are in concert with scalable nature-based solutions.
The audience will grasp the paramount role of renewable energy in making great socioeconomic impacts alongside the supply chain through an urban-rural integration system, not at the expense of ecological balance. Together, climate policymakers, activists and youth leaders will reshape a more sustainable ecosphere from this knowledge-sharing session to co-create just transition across the BRICS+ network.
The synergies between the Paris Agreement and Agenda 2030 will also be explored to magnify the importance of expediting climate resilience and seek a multilateralism-centered mechanism to promote multi-species justice and all ecosystems.
