The format of the round table. The pace of change in the polar regions of the Earth is rapidly increasing, which confirms the relevance and requires intensified preparations for the 5th International Polar Year (IPY) in 2032-33. We propose an extension of the format of the polar year for the priority study of the cryosphere, biosphere in the Arctic, Antarctica and mountain ranges of the Earth (the concept of "Interpolus") including the BRICS countries, which also includes the creation of an interpolar database, strengthening scientific partnerships and sharing experiences among scientific and educational centers. The key task is to monitor climate change, the cryosphere of the entire Earth (the White Course, as an alternative (complement) to the Green Course) and to prevent negative consequences for unique ecosystems. The history of the IPY shows the importance of such initiatives for uniting international efforts in the study of polar regions.
