Science and education for sustainable development are becoming not only a prerequisite for achieving the goals of sustainable development, but also its key tools. Being one of the traditional and most large-scale social institutions and processes of society functioning, science and education are beginning to transform their content and form of development in such a way as to most effectively contribute to the further survival and development of our civilization. The global crisis and global geopolitical processes that pose a threat to the existence of humanity today have become global in scale, which dictates the need for the wide use of advanced mechanisms and development factors. Science and education, acting as an important component of civilizational development, reflects and transmits its main features.
