Heritage of Rio de Janeiro: from biodiversity to desertification (Nature and People, Foundation Vostok Discussion Club)

In cooperation with the “Nature and People” Foundation Vostok Discussion Club will organise several panel sessions in the Arctic Pavilion in the Blue Zone. Top speakers from all over the world will took part in the sessions and exchanged their experience and views with colleagues in the format of an open discussion that will help to continue a fruitful dialogue.

We expect this event to unite governments, businesses, science, and civil society, to accelerate the implementation of existing agreements, including the Sustainable Development Goals, Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework and the Paris Agreement on Climate, to take next steps in our journey together, in solidarity with and for all people.
